1. Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
2. Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close procedures.
3. Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
4. Analyze financial data and provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
5. Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures in accordance with GAAP and company guidelines.
6. Manage the company's general ledger and ensure proper classification and coding of transactions.
7. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and ensure timely and accurate payments and collections.
8. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial plans and budgets.
9. Conduct internal audits to identify and address any potential financial risks.
10. Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
11. Train and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
12. Stay up-to-date with accounting standards and regulations and make recommendations for process improvements.
13. Communicate financial information and results to senior management and other stakeholders.
14. Assist with financial planning and forecasting and provide financial analysis to support business decisions.
15. Maintain confidentiality of financial information and ensure data security and integrity.
