Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Senior/Principal Frontend Software Engineer to join the Roblox Growth Core team and help take our product to the next level. Our ideal candidate should have a passion for pushing the boundaries of web development and the ability to collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists.We are seeking a Senior/Principal Frontend Software Engineer who has extensive experience with modern web technologies and frameworks, and a deep understanding of the user experience. The successful candidate will have a knack for creative problem solving, a commitment to quality, and the ability to wear many hats. The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications: • 5+ years of experience building web applications • Expert knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript• Experience with React, Redux, and Typescript• Experience working with data visualization libraries (e.g. D3.js)• Strong understanding of browser performance and optimization• Strong eye for design and user experience• Experience with data-driven product development• Experience with agile software development• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skillsIf you are excited by the challenge of creating innovative and engaging web experiences, we’d love to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

Develop innovative and engaging web applications
Utilize HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Redux, and Typescript to create web experiences
Optimize and improve browser performance
Design and create user experience that is aesthetically pleasing
Apply data-driven product development techniques
Participate in agile software development processes
Collaborate closely with a diverse team of engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists
Implement data visualization libraries such as D3.js
Use creative problem solving to tackle complex challenges
Ensure quality and maintain high standards of work
