Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative medical solutions and technologies to improve patient care and health outcomes.
- Design and create medical device software and hardware components.
- Integrate medical device software and hardware components into a cohesive system.
- Test and validate medical device software and hardware components for performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Work closely with a team of other biomedical engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
- Maintain detailed records of medical device development tests and results.
- Communicate effectively with other stakeholders, such as physicians and healthcare professionals.
- Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during the development process.
- Identify and implement improvements to existing medical devices.
- Monitor industry trends and developments in biomedical engineering and relay information to colleagues.
