Job Description

At Roche, we're looking for a talented and dedicated Biomedical Engineer who can help us develop innovative solutions that make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in medical device development. Furthermore, the successful applicant should be knowledgeable in medical device software and hardware, be able to work within a team environment, and have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.This role will provide an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you can help us to make a difference in the lives of patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop innovative medical solutions and technologies to improve patient care and health outcomes.
  2. Design and create medical device software and hardware components.
  3. Integrate medical device software and hardware components into a cohesive system.
  4. Test and validate medical device software and hardware components for performance and compliance with regulatory standards.
  5. Work closely with a team of other biomedical engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  6. Maintain detailed records of medical device development tests and results.
  7. Communicate effectively with other stakeholders, such as physicians and healthcare professionals.
  8. Troubleshoot and solve problems that arise during the development process.
  9. Identify and implement improvements to existing medical devices.
  10. Monitor industry trends and developments in biomedical engineering and relay information to colleagues.
