Job Description

Roche is seeking an exceptional, self-motivated individual for the role of Medical Science Liaison (MSL). The MSL will be the primary interface between Roche and external healthcare professionals, representing the company in medical, clinical, and scientific activities. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and dynamic individual with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.The successful candidate will have a strong record of accomplishment in medical affairs, clinical research, and/or healthcare with at least a Master's degree in a scientific field such as pharmacy, nursing, medicine, life sciences, pharmacology, public health, or related field. The MSL will need to have a solid understanding of the therapeutic areas relevant to Roche and the ability to communicate complex scientific information in a succinct and accurate way. A track record of success in collaborating with external medical and scientific partners is essential. Creative problem solving skills, a collaborative attitude, and a strong work ethic are all essential to the role.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary interface between Roche and external healthcare professionals, representing the company in medical, clinical, and scientific activities.
  2. Communicate complex scientific information in a succinct and accurate way.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with external medical and scientific partners.
  4. Utilize creative problem solving skills to identify solutions and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Research and stay informed of therapeutic areas relevant to Roche and related products.
  6. Monitor external communications for accuracy and compliance with Roche policies and procedures.
  7. Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the clinical landscape, and participate in scientific meetings and other industry events.
  8. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure successful completion on time.
  9. Provide scientific and medical support for clinical studies, publications, and other activities as necessary.
  10. Work closely with internal teams to ensure alignment between medical and commercial objectives.

Compensation
