- Manage and lead a team responsible for the success of a specific product line.
- Ensure all products within the product line are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans for the product line.
- Monitor and analyze market trends and customer needs to continuously improve and innovate the product line.
- Communicate and coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, manufacturing, and sales, to align on goals and priorities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and suppliers to support the product line.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact the success of the product line.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Represent the product line and company at industry events and conferences.
- Stay updated on industry advancements and competitor activities to inform product line strategy.
- Uphold company values and promote a positive work culture within the team.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols.
Strong Technical Background: A Successful Product Line Ipt Lead At Rockwell Collins Should Possess A Strong Technical Background In Product Design, Development, And Manufacturing Processes. This Includes A Deep Understanding Of Engineering Principles, Software Development, And Hardware Design.
Leadership And Management Skills: The Product Line Ipt Lead Should Have Proven Experience In Leading And Managing A Team Of Engineers And Technical Personnel. This Includes The Ability To Set Goals, Delegate Tasks, And Provide Guidance And Support To Team Members.
Project Management Experience: The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Complex Projects, Including Planning, Budgeting, And Scheduling. Experience With Project Management Tools And Methodologies, Such As Agile Or Six Sigma, Is Highly Desirable.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Product Line Ipt Lead Must Have Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Stakeholders, And Customers. The Ability To Build Strong Relationships, Negotiate And Resolve Conflicts Is Essential.
Industry Knowledge And Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Aerospace And Defense Industry, Including Knowledge Of Relevant Regulations, Standards, And Market Trends. Previous Experience In Product Line Management Or A Related Role Is Preferred.
