Signal Processing Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Signal Processing Engineer to join the team at Rockwell Collins. The successful candidate will have a passion for pushing the boundaries of technology and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.The Signal Processing Engineer will be responsible for the development and implementation of signal processing algorithms and systems, including digital signal processing for communication systems, radar systems, and other similar applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to communicate effectively with fellow engineers and other stakeholders.The successful candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Signal Processing with at least 5 years of relevant experience. They should also have a solid understanding of communication system fundamentals, signal processing algorithms, and software development. Additionally, the candidate should have experience with digital signal processors, FPGAs, and embedded systems, as well as MATLAB, Simulink, and C/C++. Experience with radio frequency (RF) systems and radar systems is a plus. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement signal processing algorithms and systems for communication systems, radar systems, and other similar applications
2. Design and implement digital signal processing for communication systems, radar systems, and other similar applications
3. Work with other engineers and stakeholders to accurately communicate signal processing designs and solutions
4. Utilize electronic engineering principles and software development techniques to develop signal processing solutions
5. Utilize MATLAB, Simulink, and C/C++ to design and implement signal processing systems
6. Utilize digital signal processors, FPGAs, and embedded systems to design and implement signal processing systems
7. Utilize radio frequency (RF) systems and radar systems for signal processing solutions
8. Troubleshoot and debug signal processing designs and systems
9. Monitor and analyze signal processing systems performance
10. Perform research and development of signal processing technologies
