- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures to protect our stores from theft and reduce shrinkage.
- Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify potential risk areas and implement corrective actions.
- Train and educate store teams on loss prevention best practices, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and awareness.
- Monitor and analyze store data to identify trends and patterns related to loss prevention and make recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with store managers to develop and maintain a safe and secure work environment for employees and customers.
- Conduct interviews and investigations to address any suspected fraudulent or dishonest activities.
- Partner with external agencies, such as law enforcement, to assist with investigations and prosecution of theft and fraud cases.
- Conduct internal and external theft and fraud awareness training and provide ongoing support to store teams.
- Monitor and maintain inventory control procedures to minimize loss and ensure accuracy.
- Manage and lead a team of loss prevention associates, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in loss prevention techniques and make recommendations for improvement.
- Uphold and promote company values and ethics in all aspects of the job.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as operations and human resources, to ensure a cohesive approach to loss prevention across the organization.
- Communicate effectively with senior management on loss prevention initiatives, risks, and results.
- Maintain accurate and timely records and reports related to loss prevention activities.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Practices, Including Investigations, Auditing, And Shrink Reduction Strategies.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Manage A Team Effectively.
Knowledge Of Local, State, And Federal Laws Related To Loss Prevention And Retail Operations.
