- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and procedures across multiple store locations to reduce theft, fraud, and financial losses.
- Train and supervise store loss prevention teams, providing guidance and support in identifying and addressing potential security threats.
- Conduct regular audits and investigations to identify areas of vulnerability and recommend solutions to mitigate risk.
- Collaborate with store management and corporate teams to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to loss prevention.
- Maintain and analyze data and reports to identify trends and patterns in theft and fraud, and make recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local law enforcement and security agencies to aid in the prevention and prosecution of theft and fraud.
- Conduct training sessions for store employees on loss prevention best practices and safety protocols.
- Monitor and respond to alarm and surveillance systems, ensuring they are functioning properly and taking appropriate action in the event of an incident.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in loss prevention technology to continuously improve strategies and procedures.
- Act as a liaison between the company and external partners, such as insurance companies and security vendors.
- Ensure all loss prevention activities are conducted in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
- Identify and address any safety hazards or concerns in the workplace to promote a safe working environment for all employees.
- Travel to different store locations within the designated area as needed to provide support and guidance.
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, including senior management, to drive results and achieve company goals.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice Or Related Field
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting
Strong Knowledge Of Shrinkage And Theft Prevention Strategies
Proven Leadership Skills And Experience Managing A Team
