- Develop and implement loss prevention strategies and programs to protect company assets, reduce shrinkage, and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and employees.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections of stores to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions.
- Train and educate store management and associates on loss prevention policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns related to loss and theft, and develop action plans to address areas of concern.
- Collaborate with district and regional managers to develop and implement loss prevention initiatives and programs.
- Investigate incidents of theft, fraud, and other security violations, and work with law enforcement as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all loss prevention activities and incidents.
- Conduct internal investigations and interviews as needed, while adhering to legal and ethical standards.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance security and reduce risk.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in loss prevention technology, and make recommendations for implementation in stores.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, providing regular updates on loss prevention activities and results.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as local, state, and federal laws related to loss prevention.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement and security vendors.
- Lead and motivate a team of loss prevention associates, providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Respond to emergencies and critical incidents in a timely and professional manner, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills, With The Ability To Train And Develop A Team Of Loss Prevention Associates.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Retail Loss Prevention, With At Least 2 Years In A Management Or Supervisory Role.
Bachelor's Degree In Criminal Justice, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.
Strong Knowledge Of Retail Operations, Including Inventory Control, Store Security, And Risk Assessment.
Proven Track Record Of Reducing Shrinkage And Minimizing Losses Through Effective Loss Prevention Strategies.
