  1. Develop and implement effective HR strategies and processes to support the growth and development of our talented teams.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address employee needs, concerns, and challenges.
  3. Foster a positive and inclusive work culture by promoting diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  4. Provide expert guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  5. Lead and support employee engagement and retention efforts through various initiatives and programs.
  6. Partner with leadership to identify and address any potential HR-related risks or issues.
  7. Monitor and analyze HR data and metrics to identify trends and provide insights to inform decision-making.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve and innovate HR practices.
  9. Serve as a trusted advisor and coach to managers and employees on performance management, career development, and conflict resolution.
  10. Support and lead various HR projects and initiatives as assigned.
  11. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  12. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders to effectively support business objectives.
  13. Develop and maintain HR policies, procedures, and documentation to ensure consistency and compliance across the organization.
  14. Manage and oversee employee relations, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary actions.
  15. Act as a role model for our company values and promote a positive and collaborative work culture.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources Or Related Field: A Senior Specialist, Human Resources At Ross Stores Should Possess A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Organizational Development.

  • 5+ Years Of Experience In Hr: The Candidate Should Have At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Human Resources Role, Preferably In A Retail Or Similar Industry. This Experience Should Include A Strong Understanding Of Hr Practices, Policies, And Procedures.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Employment Laws And Regulations: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Local, State, And Federal Employment Laws And Regulations. This Knowledge Is Essential For Ensuring Compliance And Mitigating Risk For The Company.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Senior Specialist, Human Resources, The Candidate Will Be Responsible For Communicating With Employees, Management, And External Stakeholders. Therefore, Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills, As Well As The Ability To Build Relationships, Are Crucial For Success In This Role.

  • Experience In Talent Acquisition And Management: The Candidate Should Have Experience In The Full Cycle Of Talent Acquisition, Including Sourcing, Interviewing, And Onboarding New Employees. Additionally, Experience In Performance Management, Employee Development, And Succession Planning Is Highly Desirable.
