  1. Maintain inventory levels: The Stock Associate will be responsible for ensuring that all merchandise is accounted for and restocked in a timely manner to meet customer demand.
  2. Organize and replenish merchandise: This position requires the Stock Associate to accurately and efficiently organize and replenish merchandise on the sales floor, including sorting, folding, and hanging garments.
  3. Maintain visual standards: The Stock Associate will play a crucial role in maintaining the visual appeal of the store by ensuring that merchandise is displayed neatly and in accordance with company standards.
  4. Receive and process shipments: The Stock Associate will be responsible for receiving and processing all incoming shipments, including unpacking, sorting, and tagging merchandise.
  5. Assist with store layout and displays: This role requires the Stock Associate to work closely with the Visual Merchandising team to help with store layout and displays, including setting up promotional and seasonal displays.
  6. Ensure accuracy of inventory: The Stock Associate will be responsible for conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to management.
  7. Follow safety and security procedures: The Stock Associate is expected to follow all safety and security procedures to ensure a safe and secure working environment for themselves and their colleagues.
  8. Excellent customer service: The Stock Associate will be interacting with customers on a regular basis and is expected to provide exceptional customer service by assisting with inquiries and locating merchandise.
  9. Collaborate with team members: As a member of the store team, the Stock Associate will be required to work closely with other team members to complete tasks and achieve store goals.
  10. Maintain a clean and organized work environment: The Stock Associate is responsible for keeping their work area clean and organized at all times to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.

Job Qualifications
  • Previous Retail Experience: A Stock Associate At Ross Stores Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role. This Will Demonstrate An Understanding Of Store Operations, Inventory Management, And Customer Service.

  • Strong Organizational Skills: Stock Associates Are Responsible For Managing And Organizing Inventory In The Stockroom, As Well As On The Sales Floor. They Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Ensure Products Are Easily Accessible And The Store Is Well-Maintained.

  • Attention To Detail: Stock Associates Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Accurately Receive, Sort, And Label Inventory. They Should Also Be Able To Identify Any Discrepancies Or Damaged Items To Ensure Accurate Inventory Counts.

  • Physical Ability: This Role Requires Frequent Lifting, Carrying, And Moving Of Heavy Items, As Well As Standing And Walking For Extended Periods. Stock Associates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Team Player: Stock Associates Work Closely With Other Team Members, Such As Sales Associates And Managers, To Ensure The Store Runs Smoothly. A Successful Candidate Should Be A Team Player, Able To Communicate Effectively And Collaborate With Others To Achieve Common Goals.
