- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the guest services department.
- Lead and motivate a team of guest services staff to deliver exceptional customer service.
- Create and implement procedures and protocols to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Train and onboard new guest services employees and provide ongoing training and development for current staff.
- Act as a point of contact for guests, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during their cruise.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure guest needs are met and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain guest satisfaction levels through feedback and surveys.
- Develop and maintain relationships with guests to enhance their overall experience and encourage repeat business.
- Handle any escalated guest complaints or issues, ensuring they are resolved to the satisfaction of the guest and the company.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve guest services.
- Manage guest services budget, including expenses and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to promote and market guest services offerings.
- Monitor and maintain guest services standards, ensuring they align with the company's mission and values.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to guest services staff.
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
- Adhere to all safety and security protocols to ensure the well-being of guests and staff.
Extensive Experience In The Hospitality Industry, Preferably In A Managerial Role
Strong Leadership Skills And The Ability To Effectively Manage A Team
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Guests From Diverse Backgrounds
In-Depth Knowledge Of Cruise Ship Operations, Including Guest Services, Onboard Activities, And Shore Excursions
Proven Track Record Of Providing Exceptional Customer Service And Resolving Guest Issues In A Timely And Professional Manner.
