Job Description

Rutgers University is currently seeking an experienced Mental Health Clinician to join our team. This position will provide comprehensive clinical care to a diverse range of students, including assessments, individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, and psychiatric consultation. Our ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health and the ability to create a welcoming and supportive environment for students. The successful applicant will possess a strong combination of clinical knowledge, interpersonal skills, and the desire to serve our student population.The ideal candidate will have a Masters or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field, with at least three years of experience in a clinical setting. Licensure as a clinical social worker, psychologist, or counselor is also required. We are looking for a clinician with a commitment to providing culturally-sensitive care, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team-based environment. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as the ability to remain composed in the face of crisis situations.
