- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions with students to address their mental health and well-being needs.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for students based on their individual needs and goals.
- Provide crisis intervention and support to students in emergency situations.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of counseling sessions and progress notes.
- Collaborate with other campus resources, such as academic advisors and health services, to support students' overall well-being.
- Stay up-to-date on best practices and trends in student counseling and apply them to support students at Rutgers University.
- Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, regardless of their background or identity.
- Conduct outreach and educational programs to promote mental health and wellness among the student body.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with students, faculty, and staff to provide support and resources.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance counseling skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards in counseling and maintain appropriate boundaries with students.
- Act as an advocate for students' mental health needs and work towards creating a supportive and inclusive campus community.
- Collaborate with other counselors and mental health professionals to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to student care.

Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Previous Experience Working With Students In A Counseling Or Mentoring Role.
