Fleet Maintenance Operations Manager

- Oversee the maintenance and repair operations for the company's fleet of vehicles
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimal functioning of all vehicles
- Hire, train, and manage a team of maintenance technicians
- Monitor and manage the budget for fleet maintenance and repair expenses
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards for vehicle maintenance and repair
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient maintenance and repair of vehicles
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures in fleet maintenance operations
- Keep track of maintenance records and ensure all vehicles are properly maintained and serviced
- Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to identify any potential issues and address them promptly
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in fleet maintenance and incorporate them into operations
- Communicate with drivers and other stakeholders to understand any maintenance concerns and address them promptly
- Maintain a clean and organized maintenance facility to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Extensive Experience In Fleet Maintenance: A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Fleet Maintenance Operations Is Required For This Role, With A Proven Track Record Of Managing Large Fleets And Ensuring Their Optimal Performance.
Strong Technical Knowledge: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Vehicle Mechanics And Maintenance Processes, Including Knowledge Of Various Types Of Vehicles And Their Unique Maintenance Requirements.
Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Involves Overseeing A Team Of Maintenance Technicians And Coordinating With Other Departments, So Strong Leadership And Management Skills Are Essential. Previous Experience In A Supervisory Or Managerial Role Is Preferred.
Analytical And Problem-Solving Abilities: The Fleet Maintenance Operations Manager Will Be Responsible For Identifying And Resolving Maintenance Issues, So The Ability To Analyze Data, Diagnose Problems, And Implement Effective Solutions Is Crucial.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Candidate Must Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Communicate With Team Members, Senior Management, And Clients. They Should Also Have Strong Interpersonal Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships With Stakeholders.
