- Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on forklift equipment and report any issues or malfunctions.
- Load and unload items from trucks, trailers, and other storage areas.
- Organize and maintain warehouse inventory.
- Follow instructions from warehouse supervisor or manager.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Meet productivity goals and ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or damages to supervisor.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.

Valid Certification And Experience Operating Forklifts: Candidates Should Have A Valid Forklift Operator Certification And A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience Operating Forklifts In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Setting.
Knowledge Of Warehouse Safety Procedures: A Successful Forklift Operator At Ryder System Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Warehouse Safety Protocols And Be Able To Follow Them Consistently To Prevent Accidents And Injuries.
Ability To Read And Interpret Warehouse Documentation: Forklift Operators Must Be Able To Read And Understand Warehouse Documentation, Such As Pick Lists, Manifests, And Inventory Reports, To Accurately Locate And Move Materials.
Physical Stamina And Dexterity: Working As A Forklift Operator Can Be Physically Demanding, Requiring Individuals To Stand, Walk, And Operate Heavy Machinery For Long Periods. Candidates Should Have Good Physical Stamina And Dexterity To Perform The Job Effectively.
Attention To Detail And Organizational Skills: Forklift Operators Are Responsible For Accurately Picking And Moving Materials, So They Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail And Strong Organizational Skills To Ensure The Correct Items Are Being Picked And Delivered To The Designated Location.
