- Safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in accordance with all state and federal regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the vehicle.
- Follow designated routes and schedules to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to provide updates on delivery status and any potential issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any other required documentation.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including proper loading and unloading of cargo and wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
- Report any vehicle malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel and follow company procedures for addressing these issues.
