- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on forklifts to ensure proper functioning.
- Comply with all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
- Utilize forklift to load and unload materials from trucks and move them to designated storage areas.
- Accurately track inventory and maintain warehouse organization.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill orders and meet deadlines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and work area.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including attendance and punctuality.

Valid Forklift Operator Certification: A Warehouse Forklift Operator At Ryder System Should Have A Valid Certification From A Recognized Training Program, Demonstrating Their Knowledge Of Safe Forklift Operation And Maintenance.
Prior Experience Operating A Variety Of Forklifts: Candidates Should Have Experience Operating Various Types Of Forklifts, Including Sit-Down, Stand-Up, And Reach Trucks, As Well As Experience With Loading And Unloading Materials.
Ability To Read And Interpret Work Orders: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have Strong Reading And Comprehension Skills, As They Will Be Responsible For Accurately Following Work Orders And Instructions For Moving Materials And Products.
Attention To Detail: Warehouse Forklift Operators Must Have A Keen Eye For Detail To Ensure Accurate Placement And Movement Of Materials. This Includes Being Able To Accurately Read Labels And Match Products To Their Designated Locations.
Physical Stamina And Strength: This Role Requires Physical Stamina And Strength, As Warehouse Forklift Operators Will Be Required To Stand For Long Periods, Lift And Move Heavy Loads, And Operate Equipment For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.
