As a Warehouse Forklift Operator, you will play a vital role in our operations by safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move and store materials in our warehouse.   1. Safely operate forklifts to move and store materials in the warehouse.
  2. Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating forklifts.
  3. Ensure accurate and timely movement of materials within the warehouse.
  4. Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
  5. Inspect and maintain forklift equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  6. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations.
  7. Adhere to company policies and procedures.
  8. Report any safety hazards or equipment malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
  9. Follow inventory control procedures to accurately track materials.
  10. Meet productivity and accuracy standards set by management.
  11. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on forklifts as needed.
  12. Assist with loading and unloading of materials from trucks as needed.
  13. Keep accurate records of materials moved and stored.
  14. Follow all company and industry regulations and standards.
  15. Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.
  16. Maintain a positive and professional attitude while representing the company.
  17. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  18. Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency and productivity in warehouse operations.
  19. Flexibility to work in different shifts, including nights and weekends.

Job Qualifications

  • Valid Forklift Operator Certification: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From A Recognized Training Institute. This Certification Ensures That The Candidate Has Received Proper Training To Operate A Forklift Safely And Efficiently.

  • Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience As A Forklift Operator In A Warehouse Or Distribution Center Is Required. This Experience Should Include Operating Different Types Of Forklifts And Handling Various Types Of Materials.

  • Physical Fitness: The Job Of A Forklift Operator Involves Lifting And Moving Heavy Materials. Therefore, The Candidate Should Be Physically Fit And Capable Of Handling The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Knowledge Of Warehouse Operations: The Candidate Should Have A Good Understanding Of Warehouse Operations And Processes. This Includes Knowledge Of Inventory Management, Loading And Unloading Procedures, And Safety Protocols.

  • Attention To Detail: A Forklift Operator Needs To Be Detail-Oriented And Have A Keen Eye For Identifying Potential Safety Hazards. They Should Also Be Able To Accurately Record Inventory And Maintain Proper Documentation.
