- Safely and efficiently load and unload materials from delivery trucks and storage areas.
- Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials.
- Ensure all materials are properly labeled, stored, and tracked in the warehouse management system.
- Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to identify discrepancies and report any issues to management.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse to facilitate efficient movement of materials.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and shipping of materials as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.
- Continuously look for ways to improve warehouse processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
Physical Fitness And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: Material Handlers Are Required To Lift, Carry, And Move Heavy Items On A Regular Basis. Therefore, Candidates For This Job Must Possess Physical Strength, Endurance, And Be Able To Handle Manual Labor.
Forklift Certification: As Material Handlers Are Responsible For Operating Forklifts And Other Heavy Machinery, A Valid Forklift Certification Is A Must-Have Qualification. This Ensures That The Candidate Has The Necessary Training And Knowledge To Operate These Machines Safely And Efficiently.
