
Global Category Manager - Outsourcing
We’re looking for an experienced Global Category Manager - Outsourcing to join Sage’s Procurement team and help us maximize value from our external suppliers. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, able to develop long-term goals and objectives that bring value to the organization, and have a proven track record of successful supplier relationship management.This role requires excellent communication skills, strong commercial acumen, and the ability to build productive relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement long-term strategies and objectives to maximize value from external suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage contracts with external suppliers.
- Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure value is achieved.
- Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes and supplier relationships.
- Analyze market trends and develop strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Monitor supplier performance and develop improvement plans.
- Analyze and report on cost savings achieved through outsourcing.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of the organization’s procurement policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date with current developments and best practices in the sourcing and procurement industry.
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that all sourcing objectives are met.
