- Develop and implement comprehensive supplier business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience and minimize potential disruptions in the supply chain.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical suppliers and their potential risks, and establish contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
- Conduct regular risk assessments of suppliers to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to address them.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they are aligned with our business continuity objectives and have appropriate plans in place.
- Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against established business continuity plans and take corrective actions as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to supplier business continuity planning and make recommendations for improvements to our program.
- Lead and coach a team responsible for managing supplier business continuity plans and processes.
- Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on the status of supplier business continuity plans and any potential risks.
- Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and successful execution of supplier business continuity initiatives.
- Develop and maintain documentation and reporting processes to track progress and ensure compliance with supplier business continuity plans.
- Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment and coordination of business continuity efforts.
