  1. Develop and implement comprehensive supplier business continuity plans to ensure operational resilience and minimize potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify critical suppliers and their potential risks, and establish contingency plans to mitigate those risks.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments of suppliers to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop strategies to address them.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring they are aligned with our business continuity objectives and have appropriate plans in place.
  5. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance against established business continuity plans and take corrective actions as needed.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices related to supplier business continuity planning and make recommendations for improvements to our program.
  7. Lead and coach a team responsible for managing supplier business continuity plans and processes.
  8. Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership, to provide updates on the status of supplier business continuity plans and any potential risks.
  9. Manage and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely and successful execution of supplier business continuity initiatives.
  10. Develop and maintain documentation and reporting processes to track progress and ensure compliance with supplier business continuity plans.
  11. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure alignment and coordination of business continuity efforts.
  12. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing strategies to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of our supplier business continuity program.

They Should Also Have A Thorough Understanding Of Supply Chain Risk Management.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Manager - Supplier Business Continuity Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Internal Teams, Suppliers, And Other Stakeholders. They Should Be Able To Clearly Communicate Expectations, Provide Guidance, And Build Strong Relationships With Suppliers.

  • Proven Leadership And Project Management Skills: As A Manager, This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Project Management Skills To Effectively Lead Teams And Drive Projects Forward. The Candidate Should Have A Track Record Of Successfully Managing Cross-Functional Teams And Delivering Projects On Time And Within Budget.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Supplier Risk Management Practices: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding Of Supplier Risk Management Practices, Including Risk Assessment, Mitigation Strategies, And Monitoring And Reporting Processes. They Should Also Have Experience In Developing And Maintaining Supplier Risk Management Frameworks.
