  1. Design and develop data models for Salesforce's Data Cloud platform.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.
  3. Utilize cutting-edge technologies to create optimized and scalable data models.
  4. Conduct data analysis and identify opportunities for data model improvements.
  5. Develop and maintain data dictionaries and data lineage documentation.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve data model performance issues.
  7. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data modeling.
  8. Mentor and guide junior data modelers in the team.
  9. Work closely with data engineers and database administrators to ensure efficient data flow and data integrity.
  10. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  11. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely updates on data model development.
  12. Help define and enforce data modeling standards and guidelines.
  13. Collaborate with other teams to integrate data models into various applications.
  14. Continuously monitor and optimize data models for improved performance and efficiency.
  15. Identify and implement data modeling best practices to ensure high-quality data.
  16. Participate in data governance initiatives and ensure compliance with data standards and regulations.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Data Modeling: A Principal Data Cloud Data Modeler At Salesforce Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience In Designing And Implementing Data Models For Large-Scale Cloud-Based Applications.

  • Expertise In Salesforce Data Architecture: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Salesforce Data Architecture, Including The Capabilities And Limitations Of Different Data Storage Options Such As Objects, Fields, And Relationships.

  • Proficiency In Data Integration: Salesforce Is A Complex Environment That Often Requires Integrating Data From Various Sources. A Principal Data Cloud Data Modeler Should Have Expertise In Designing And Implementing Data Integration Solutions That Meet Business Requirements And Adhere To Best Practices.

  • Strong Technical Skills: This Role Requires A Strong Technical Background, Including Proficiency In Sql, Etl Tools, And Data Modeling Tools. The Candidate Should Also Have Experience With Data Warehousing And Data Governance Principles.
