Sr. Manager, Data Governance Policy and Risk Management

We are looking for an innovative, experienced Sr. Manager to join the Data Governance Policy and Risk Management team at Salesforce. This individual will be a critical part of our team, responsible for driving the strategy, execution, and operations of the Data Governance program. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data governance, compliance and risk management, with an emphasis on developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies.The successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a passion for data governance and a proven track record of developing and managing data governance programs. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a track record of successfully collaborating with internal and external stakeholders. Additionally, they should be able to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.Required Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree in a related field• 5+ years of experience in data governance, compliance and risk management• Proven track record of developing and managing data governance programs• Experience developing and implementing data governance frameworks and policies• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement data governance frameworks and policies for the Salesforce Data Governance Policy and Risk Management team.
2. Lead the strategy and execution of the Data Governance program.
3. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of data governance frameworks and policies.
4. Analyze and assess risk management and compliance related to data governance.
5. Monitor and review data governance programs to ensure their effectiveness and compliance with applicable regulations.
6. Develop and maintain metrics and reports for data governance initiatives.
7. Proactively identify opportunities for improvement of the data governance program.
8. Provide guidance and support to team members on data governance best practices.
9. Ensure data accuracy and security across all data governance related processes.
10. Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders and vendors.
