- Act as a liaison with local law enforcement agencies and provide support in case of any criminal incidents.
- Ensure all security equipment and systems are functional and report any malfunctions or issues to management.
- Train and educate store associates on security best practices and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all security-related incidents and activities.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to identify any discrepancies and report them to management.
- Identify and report any safety hazards or risks within the store premises.
- Stay updated with current security trends and technologies to continuously improve the store's security measures.
- Communicate effectively with members and associates to provide a safe and pleasant shopping experience.
- Represent Sam's Club in a professional and ethical manner at all times.
Experience In Loss Prevention: Candidates Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Loss Prevention, Preferably In A Retail Setting.
Knowledge Of Security Systems: The Ideal Candidate Should Be Familiar With Cctv Systems, Alarm Systems, And Other Security Equipment Used In Retail Environments.
Strong Communication Skills: As An Asset Protection Associate, The Candidate Will Be Required To Interact With Customers, Associates, And Law Enforcement. Therefore, Excellent Verbal And Written Communication Skills Are A Must.
Attention To Detail: The Candidate Should Be Detail-Oriented And Have The Ability To Identify Suspicious Behavior Or Potential Theft.
