  1. Monitor the store premises and identify any potential security risks or hazards.
  2. Conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety and security of members, associates, and company assets.
  3. Utilize surveillance equipment to monitor and detect any suspicious activity.
  4. Communicate and collaborate with other team members to address any security concerns or incidents.
  5. Follow established protocols and procedures for responding to emergencies and incidents.
  6. Conduct thorough investigations into any reported incidents, including reviewing surveillance footage and gathering witness statements.
  7. Maintain accurate and detailed records of security incidents, investigations, and resolutions.
  8. Identify and report any policy violations or non-compliant behaviors to management.
  9. Educate and train associates on security and loss prevention procedures to minimize risk.
  10. Monitor and control access to designated areas of the store, including cash offices and stockrooms.
  11. Work closely with law enforcement and other external agencies as needed.
  12. Stay up-to-date on current security and loss prevention trends and techniques.
  13. Conduct regular audits of store procedures and recommend improvements to enhance security measures.
  14. Respond promptly and professionally to member and associate inquiries and concerns related to security and loss prevention.
  15. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times while representing the company.

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge Of Loss Prevention Strategies: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Loss Prevention Techniques And Strategies, Including Cctv Surveillance, Inventory Control, And Fraud Detection.

  • Strong Attention To Detail: Asset Protection Associates Must Be Detail-Oriented And Able To Identify Potential Security Threats Or Discrepancies In Merchandise Or Transactions.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: This Role Requires Effective Communication With Both Customers And Team Members. Candidates Should Have Strong Verbal And Written Communication Skills To Effectively Report Incidents And Collaborate With Others.

  • Physical Fitness: Asset Protection Associates May Be Required To Stand, Walk, Or Patrol For Extended Periods Of Time, As Well As Lift And Move Heavy Objects. Physical Fitness And Stamina Are Important Qualifications For This Role.

  • Ability To Handle Stressful Situations: In High-Traffic Retail Environments, Asset Protection Associates May Encounter Difficult Or Potentially Dangerous Situations. Candidates Should Be Able To Remain Calm Under Pressure And Handle Conflicts Or Emergencies Effectively.
