- Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized backroom area to ensure efficient product storage and retrieval.
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of all items.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or low stock items to management.
- Assist in the pricing and labeling of merchandise according to company standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate stocking of merchandise on the sales floor.
- Use equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and stack merchandise as needed.
- Assist with customer inquiries and provide exceptional customer service, including helping with product location and availability.
- Follow safety procedures and adhere to company policies and guidelines at all times.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and efficiency in the backroom area.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth store operations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Experience In Inventory Management: A Backroom Associate At Sam's Club Should Have Experience In Managing Inventory, Including Receiving, Labeling, And Organizing Products In The Backroom.
Knowledge Of Merchandising: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Knowledge Of Effective Merchandising Techniques To Ensure Efficient And Attractive Product Displays In The Backroom.
