Welcome to Sam's Club! We are currently seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our team as a Backroom Associate. As a Backroom Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the organization and efficiency of our store's inventory. This position requires someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.   1. Maintain organization of inventory: The primary responsibility of a Backroom Associate is to ensure that the inventory is organized and easily accessible for other team members and customers.
  2. Receive and process shipments: Backroom Associates are responsible for receiving and processing shipments of new merchandise, ensuring all items are accurately counted and labeled.
  3. Stock shelves and displays: Backroom Associates must ensure that all shelves and displays are fully stocked and visually appealing to customers.
  4. Monitor inventory levels: It is the responsibility of the Backroom Associate to regularly check inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or low stock levels to the appropriate team members.
  5. Ensure product quality: Backroom Associates must inspect all merchandise for damages and defects, and take appropriate action to address any issues.
  6. Follow safety protocols: Backroom Associates must adhere to all safety protocols when handling and storing inventory, including proper lifting techniques and use of equipment.
  7. Assist with inventory audits: Backroom Associates may be responsible for assisting with inventory audits, ensuring accuracy and identifying any discrepancies.
  8. Collaborate with team members: As a team player, the Backroom Associate must work collaboratively with other team members to ensure the smooth operation of the store.
  9. Maintain a clean and organized work area: It is the responsibility of the Backroom Associate to keep the backroom area clean and organized at all times.
  10. Provide excellent customer service: Backroom Associates must be friendly and approachable, and be willing to assist customers with any questions or concerns they may have.
  11. Adhere to company policies and procedures: Backroom Associates must adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to inventory management and safety.
  12. Meet productivity goals: Backroom Associates may be given productivity goals to meet, and must work efficiently to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
  13. Continuously improve processes: Backroom Associates should be proactive in identifying areas for improvement and making suggestions to streamline processes and increase efficiency.
