- Receive and process shipments: Unload and unpack incoming merchandise, verify accuracy of received products, and properly stock them in designated areas.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment: Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in the backroom to ensure a safe and hygienic work environment.
- Communicate effectively: Collaborate with team members and communicate any inventory or stocking issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist with customer service: Provide friendly and efficient customer service by assisting with product inquiries and directing customers to desired items.
- Operate equipment: Operate equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and organize merchandise.
- Follow company policies: Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding inventory management, safety protocols, and customer service.
- Participate in store events: Assist with setting up and organizing merchandise for store events and promotions.
- Cross-train in other areas: Willingness to cross-train and assist in other areas of the store as needed.
- Continuously improve processes: Identify opportunities for process improvement and provide suggestions to management for increased efficiency and productivity.

Strong Organizational Skills: A Backroom Associate Must Have Excellent Organizational Skills To Efficiently Manage Inventory And Ensure Products Are Properly Stocked And Stored.
Attention To Detail: The Job Of A Backroom Associate Requires A High Level Of Attention To Detail To Accurately Track Inventory, Check For Damaged Goods, And Maintain A Clean And Organized Stockroom.
Physical Stamina: This Position Involves Frequent Lifting, Bending, And Standing For Extended Periods Of Time, So Physical Stamina And The Ability To Lift Heavy Objects Are Important Qualifications.
