- Operate a forklift to move merchandise throughout the store, ensuring safe and efficient handling.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude while interacting with customers and fellow team members.
- Contribute to the overall success of the store by accurately stocking merchandise and maintaining a neat and organized appearance.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines while operating the forklift and handling merchandise.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and efficient use of resources.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any discrepancies or issues to management.
- Assist with unloading and loading merchandise deliveries, verifying accuracy and quality of products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, addressing concerns, and assisting with locating merchandise.
- Follow company policies and procedures regarding merchandise handling, pricing, and customer service.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the products sold at Sam's Club and be able to make recommendations to customers.
- Keep work area clean and organized, ensuring a safe and inviting shopping environment for customers.
- Attend training sessions and team meetings to stay informed about new policies, procedures, and products.
- Be flexible and willing to assist with other tasks and responsibilities as needed.
Forklift Certification: A Valid Forklift Operator's Certification Is Typically Required For This Position, Demonstrating Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating A Forklift Safely And Efficiently.
Merchandising Experience: Previous Experience In Retail Merchandising, Preferably In A Warehouse Or Large Retail Environment, Is Often Preferred For This Role.
Physical Stamina: This Job May Require Physical Tasks Such As Lifting And Carrying Heavy Items, Standing For Extended Periods Of Time, And Operating A Forklift In A Fast-Paced Environment, So Physical Stamina And Strength Are Important Qualifications.
Attention To Detail: As A Forklift-Merchandising Associate, You Will Be Responsible For Accurately And Efficiently Organizing And Stocking Merchandise On The Sales Floor, So Attention To Detail Is Crucial To Ensure Inventory Accuracy And A Visually Appealing Shopping Experience For Customers.
