- Operate forklift to transport merchandise safely and efficiently throughout the store.
- Ensure all merchandise is properly displayed and organized to maximize accessibility for members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including shelves, aisles, and storage areas.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting members with any questions or concerns related to merchandise and store layout.
- Work closely with the merchandising team to ensure all products are properly stocked and replenished throughout the day.
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for both associates and members.
- Communicate effectively with team members and managers to coordinate tasks and prioritize workload.
- Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies or shortages to management.
- Assist with receiving and unloading merchandise shipments and verifying accuracy of the delivery.
- Continuously strive to improve efficiency and productivity in merchandising and forklift operations.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding merchandise handling, safety, and customer service.
- Attend training sessions and meetings to stay updated on company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless and positive member experience.
- Maintain a positive attitude and represent the company in a professional manner at all times.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Forklift Certification: The Ideal Candidate For This Position Should Possess A Valid Forklift Certification, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Ability To Safely Operate A Forklift.
Merchandising Experience: Previous Experience In A Merchandising Role, Preferably In A Retail Setting, Is Highly Desirable For This Position. This Includes Experience With Inventory Management, Stocking, And Organizing Merchandise.
Physical Stamina: This Job Requires A Great Deal Of Physical Activity, Including Lifting And Moving Heavy Merchandise, Standing For Extended Periods Of Time, And Working In Various Weather Conditions. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: As A Forklift-Merchandising Associate, Accuracy And Attention To Detail Are Crucial. This Includes Correctly Labeling And Organizing Merchandise, Ensuring Inventory Levels Are Accurate, And Completing Tasks With A High Level Of Precision.
