- Operate forklift to safely and efficiently move merchandise and supplies throughout the store.
- Assist with unloading and stocking of merchandise onto shelves and displays.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and pleasant shopping experience for members.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure all merchandise is properly labeled and priced.
- Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and reporting any discrepancies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing any concerns from members.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines when operating forklift and handling merchandise.
- Continuously monitor and report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management.
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and displays to effectively assist members with their shopping needs.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management.
Valid Forklift Operator Certification: Candidates Should Have A Valid Forklift Operator Certification From A Recognized Organization, Demonstrating Their Knowledge And Proficiency In Operating A Forklift Safely And Efficiently.
Previous Merchandising Experience: Prior Experience In A Merchandising Role, Preferably In A Retail Environment, Is Highly Desirable. This Includes Experience In Setting Up Displays, Organizing Merchandise, And Maintaining Inventory Levels.
Physical Fitness: As A Forklift-Merchandising Associate, The Job Requires Lifting And Moving Heavy Items, Standing For Extended Periods, And Working In A Fast-Paced Environment. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Handle The Physical Demands Of The Job.
Attention To Detail: A Keen Eye For Detail Is Crucial For This Role As Forklift-Merchandising Associates Are Responsible For Accurately Stocking And Organizing Merchandise On The Sales Floor. Attention To Detail Is Also Important For Maintaining A Clean And Organized Work Environment.
