Forklift-Merchandising Associate

- Operate forklift to safely and efficiently move merchandise throughout the store.
- Receive and unload shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper handling of products.
- Stock merchandise on sales floor shelves and displays, following planograms and merchandising guidelines.
- Rotate and organize merchandise to maintain a neat and orderly sales floor.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of any low stock or discrepancies.
- Assist in conducting inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating the forklift and handling merchandise.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the forklift and surrounding storage areas.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers on the sales floor.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and timely completion of tasks.
- Communicate any issues or concerns with merchandise or equipment to management.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to improve job performance.
- Adhere to all company and legal regulations, including those related to the handling and storage of hazardous materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Forklift Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Possess A Valid Forklift Certification And Have Experience Operating Various Types Of Forklifts.
Merchandising Experience: Previous Experience In A Retail Or Warehouse Environment, With A Focus On Merchandising, Is Preferred. This Includes Experience In Stocking And Organizing Products, Maintaining Inventory Levels, And Ensuring Product Displays Are Visually Appealing.
Physical Abilities: The Job Of A Forklift-Merchandising Associate At Sam's Club Requires A Certain Level Of Physical Fitness. Candidates Should Be Able To Lift And Move Heavy Objects, Stand For Extended Periods Of Time, And Operate A Forklift Safely And Efficiently.
Attention To Detail: As A Forklift-Merchandising Associate, Attention To Detail Is Crucial. This Includes Accurately Counting And Organizing Products, Ensuring Product Displays Are Clean And Appealing, And Maintaining Accurate Inventory Records.
