- Receive and unload merchandise from delivery trucks.
- Stock shelves and displays with merchandise in an efficient and timely manner.
- Ensure that all merchandise is accurately labeled and priced.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of the sales floor, including restocking and rearranging merchandise as needed.
- Assist with inventory management by counting and recording inventory levels, and reporting any discrepancies to management.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting members with their shopping needs.
- Follow all safety and security procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with management and team members to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including adhering to merchandising guidelines and maintaining a neat and professional appearance.
- Continuously monitor and replenish merchandise to ensure that shelves and displays are always fully stocked and visually appealing.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on store policies, procedures, and promotions.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.
Previous Retail Experience: Candidates Should Have Previous Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Stocking Or Merchandising Role. This Demonstrates An Understanding Of Retail Operations And Customer Service.
Strong Organizational Skills: As A Merchandise And Stocking Associate, The Individual Will Be Responsible For Replenishing Merchandise, Organizing Products On Shelves, And Maintaining Inventory Levels. Therefore, Strong Organizational Skills Are Essential For Success In This Role.
Physical Stamina: This Position Requires Physical Stamina As It Involves Lifting And Moving Heavy Boxes And Merchandise. Candidates Should Be Able To Stand, Walk, And Lift For Extended Periods Of Time.
Attention To Detail: The Ability To Pay Attention To Detail Is Crucial In This Role As The Individual Will Be Responsible For Ensuring That Products Are Accurately Labeled, Priced, And Restocked. A Keen Eye For Detail Will Help To Prevent Errors And Maintain A Well-Organized Store.
