- Ensure shelves are always fully stocked with high-quality merchandise by accurately and efficiently restocking products throughout the store.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by regularly organizing and straightening shelves and displays.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low stock or out-of-stock items to management.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments, ensuring all items are accounted for and in good condition.
- Utilize proper methods for handling and storing merchandise to prevent damage or loss.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting members with their shopping needs.
- Continuously monitor product quality and report any issues or concerns to management.
- Use pricing and labeling tools to correctly label merchandise and ensure accurate pricing for members.
- Collaborate with team members to create and maintain visually appealing displays and product placement.
- Remain up-to-date on product knowledge, sales, and promotions to effectively assist members and answer any questions they may have.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe and secure work environment for both associates and members.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including attendance, punctuality, and dress code standards.
- Assist with other tasks and projects as assigned by management to support the overall success of the store.
Prior Experience In Retail: A Strong Understanding Of Retail Operations And Customer Service Is Essential For A Merchandise And Stocking Associate At Sam's Club. Previous Experience In A Similar Role Or In A Retail Environment Would Be Highly Beneficial.
Physical Stamina And Ability To Lift Heavy Objects: This Role Involves Physical Tasks Such As Unloading Merchandise, Stocking Shelves, And Moving Heavy Items. Candidates Should Be Able To Handle Physical Demands And Have The Ability To Lift Up To 50 Pounds.
