Pharmacist Manager

Sam's Club is looking for an experienced and motivated Pharmacist Manager to join our team and provide the best quality care to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a Pharm.D. or Pharm.D. (Doctor of Pharmacy) degree from an accredited college of pharmacy, as well as a minimum of 5 years of experience in retail or hospital pharmacy management.We are looking for a Pharmacist Manager who is passionate about providing excellent customer service and has a commitment to developing and mentoring team members. The Pharmacist Manager should have excellent problem-solving skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and have a strong patient focus with a commitment to patient safety. Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the safety and accuracy of all medications dispensed in accordance with all state and federal regulations.
2. Mentor and oversee pharmacy staff in the performance of their duties and provide training and guidance as needed.
3. Monitor and control inventory levels and order medications as needed.
4. Ensure the efficient and accurate processing of all prescriptions.
5. Provide excellent customer service to patients, including answering questions and addressing any concerns.
6. Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the pharmacy.
7. Maintain patient records, including patient histories, allergies, and other relevant information.
8. Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy promotional campaigns.
9. Participate in professional meetings and continuing education programs.
10. Remain up-to-date on new medications and treatments.
