- Assist pharmacists in providing excellent customer service to all members of Sam's Club
- Dispense medications accurately and efficiently, following all safety protocols
- Maintain a high level of knowledge and understanding of medications, including their uses and potential side effects
- Handle and process insurance claims for prescription medications
- Keep accurate and organized records of inventory and patient information
- Communicate effectively with both patients and other healthcare professionals
- Adhere to all laws and regulations related to pharmacy operations and patient confidentiality
- Provide support and assistance to pharmacists in filling prescriptions and compounding medications
- Participate in ongoing training and education to stay updated on industry developments and best practices

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: A Minimum Educational Requirement For A Pharmacy Technician - Certified Position Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates Basic Knowledge And Understanding Of Academic Subjects, Which Is Essential For The Job.
Pharmacy Technician Certification: Sam's Club Requires All Pharmacy Technician - Certified Employees To Hold A Valid Certification From The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (Ptcb) Or National Healthcareer Association (Nha). This Certification Ensures That The Individual Has Received Proper Training And Has The Necessary Skills To Perform The Job.

Knowledge Of Pharmacy Laws And Regulations: Pharmacy Technicians - Certified Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To The Practice Of Pharmacy. This Includes Knowledge Of Controlled Substance Regulations, Patient Privacy Laws, And Pharmacy Technician Scope Of Practice.
