- Maintain a well-stocked and organized produce department to ensure that members have a wide variety of fresh produce options available.
- Ensure that all produce items are visually appealing and meet quality standards by regularly inspecting and rotating products.
- Assist members in locating and selecting produce items, providing excellent customer service and answering any questions they may have.
- Receive, unload, and stock incoming produce shipments, while following proper food safety and handling procedures.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any low or out-of-stock items to management to ensure timely restocking.
- Keep the produce department clean and presentable at all times, including regularly sanitizing work areas and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and problem-solving.
- Follow company policies and procedures, including safety and security protocols, to ensure a safe and secure shopping experience for members.
- Stay up-to-date on produce industry trends and products, providing recommendations and suggestions to improve the department.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management, such as assisting in other departments or helping with special projects or events.
