Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Associate Manager to join our Logistics and Customs Compliance team. As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and timely movement of goods across borders, while ensuring compliance with all customs and regulatory requirements.   1. Manage customs compliance processes: Ensure all imports and exports comply with local and international customs laws and regulations.
  2. Monitor shipment movements: Oversee the tracking of all incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  3. Maintain accurate records: Keep records of all customs documents, including import and export declarations, and ensure they are organized and easily accessible.
  4. Develop and maintain relationships: Build and maintain positive relationships with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and efficient movement of goods.
  5. Conduct audits: Regularly audit customs documentation to identify any discrepancies or potential issues and take corrective action.
  6. Communicate with internal teams: Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and finance, to ensure accurate and timely communication regarding customs compliance requirements.
  7. Stay updated on customs regulations: Keep up-to-date with changes in customs laws and regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risk for the company.
  8. Train and educate staff: Conduct training sessions and provide resources to educate employees on customs compliance policies and procedures.
  9. Troubleshoot customs issues: Proactively identify and resolve any issues or delays with customs clearance to ensure on-time delivery of goods.
  10. Ensure cost efficiency: Work closely with the finance team to identify cost-saving opportunities in customs compliance and logistics processes.
  11. Lead a team: Supervise and mentor a team of logistics and customs compliance specialists to ensure high-quality work and team cohesion.
  12. Adhere to company policies: Follow all company policies and procedures related to logistics and customs compliance, including ethical business practices.
  13. Drive continuous improvement: Identify areas for improvement in customs compliance processes and implement solutions to increase efficiency and reduce risk.
  14. Promote a culture of compliance: Encourage a culture of compliance and ethical behavior within the team and across the organization.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Logistics And Customs Compliance, Preferably In The Electronics Industry.

  • Knowledge Of International Trade Regulations And Customs Procedures.

  • Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills To Effectively Liaise With Customs Officials, Shipping Carriers, And Internal Teams.

  • Proficiency In Logistics Software And Systems, Such As Sap Or Oracle, As Well As Microsoft Excel For Data Analysis And Reporting.
