Cyber Security Analyst

The Cyber Security Analyst will be part of a small team that is responsible for the monitoring of the security operational readiness of Samsung Austin Semiconductor (SAS) systems. This position will be a mid-level position that will interact with other departments to maintain operational capabilities and assist with the security incident response and vulnerability management processes. Conducting scans and configuring scanning tools to assist in identifying vulnerabilities and inventorying IT systems (may include port scans, vulnerability scans, etc.). Assisting in the security incident response process – to include analyzing systems with potential malware infections, analyzing emails to determine if they phishing, spam, etc., identifying root cause, and reformatting/reimaging systems. Assisting with the identification of security incident remediation plans.
