
Emergency Medical Technician
As an EMT, you will render first aid, maintain public calm during emergencies, and provide assistance to emergency personnel as required. You are also responsible for patrolling the Zoo grounds and surrounding areas to prevent theft, violence, and other infractions. An EMT also assures operating equipment at our Butterflies, Tomistoma, and Crocodiles exhibits such as pumps, blowers, heaters, air conditioners, and fans are performing as required. You must be fully committed to San Antonio Zoo's mission to create awareness that inspires action to care for the wildlife we steward and animals we protect.
Must be Texas State licensed EMT-B, I & P.
One year of security-related work preferred
Must have or obtain a Texas Level 2 License for Security.
First Aid and CPR Certification is required
Spanish fluency is preferred.
