Emergency Services Specialist

Coordinates with local governmental agencies, County departments, private and volunteer agencies in drafting organization, training, readiness, operations and communications plans to be utilized in emergencies. Conducts technical studies and analyses of phases of the emergency services program and of disaster potentials within the County. Makes recommendations and reports. Meets with County, district and city officials and private citizens in the formation of coordinated emergency services plans. Identifies and provides for training needs. Ensures compliance with regulations. Informs the general public and community groups of emergency services needs and capabilities. Facilitates tabletop and functional exercise.
