
Director of Quality & Patient Safety
We are looking for a highly organized and experienced professional to join our team as Director of Quality & Patient Safety at San Juan Regional Medical Center. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader and have a passion for providing excellent patient care and ensuring patient safety.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating the hospital’s quality and patient safety activities. As Director of Quality & Patient Safety, you will be a key member of the executive leadership team and will have a direct impact on the organization’s strategic initiatives.The required qualifications for this position include: a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Health Care Administration, Quality/Patient Safety Management, or a related field; at least five years of experience in a clinical setting; at least three years in a leadership role in Quality/Patient Safety; and a valid state RN license or equivalent. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to quality and patient safety, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate quality and patient safety activities within the hospital
- Lead a team in ensuring that quality and patient safety goals are met
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team in implementing strategic initiatives
- Monitor and coach staff to ensure compliance with quality and patient safety standards
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of patient safety and quality programs
- Track and analyze quality and patient safety data
- Develop and present reports to the executive team
- Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address them
- Develop and ensure adherence to policies and procedures related to quality and patient safety
- Create and implement quality and patient safety training programs for staff members
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing
Healthcare Administration
Or Related Field
At Least Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting In Quality Improvement
Patient Safety And/Or Accreditation
Knowledge Of Accreditation
