  1. Develop and implement a global travel procurement strategy aligned with company goals and objectives.
  2. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate contracts with travel suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and high-quality services.
  3. Monitor and analyze travel market trends and make recommendations for cost-saving opportunities.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and anticipate travel needs across various departments and regions.
  5. Manage relationships with key travel suppliers, including conducting regular performance reviews and implementing corrective actions as needed.
  6. Ensure compliance with company travel policies and procedures, as well as industry regulations and standards.
  7. Oversee the booking and management of all business travel, including airfare, hotel accommodations, ground transportation, and other travel-related services.
  8. Develop and maintain travel expense reporting systems to track and report travel spend and identify potential cost-saving measures.
  9. Train and educate employees on travel policies and procedures to ensure adherence and compliance.
  10. Lead and participate in global travel management projects, such as implementing new travel technologies or processes.
  11. Manage and resolve any travel-related issues or concerns, including emergency situations or disruptions.
  12. Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices in travel procurement and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  13. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to travel procurement activities.
  14. Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely payment of travel invoices.
  15. Represent the company at industry events and conferences related to travel procurement.
