Job Description

  1. Develop and implement innovative material science strategies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
  2. Lead and oversee material science projects, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  3. Mentor and guide junior team members in material science techniques and best practices.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve material-related issues.
  5. Conduct research and analysis to continuously improve material processes and technologies.
  6. Stay current with industry advancements in material science and apply relevant knowledge to enhance company processes.
  7. Create and maintain documentation and reports related to material science activities.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and quality standards.
  9. Communicate findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
  10. Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide input on material science-related topics.
  11. Take ownership of material science projects and drive them to successful completion.
  12. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements through material science initiatives.
  13. Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure high-quality materials are sourced.
  14. Train team members on new material science techniques and technologies.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert on material science for the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree In Material Science Or Related Field: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Material Science Or A Related Field Such As Chemical Engineering Or Biochemistry Is Typically Required For A Material Science Leader Position At Sanofi.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Process Development And Optimization: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Process Development And Optimization Within The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Proven Track Record Of Successful Projects.

  • Expertise In Material Characterization Techniques: A Deep Understanding Of Various Analytical Techniques Such As Spectroscopy, Microscopy, And Thermal Analysis Is Essential For A Material Science Leader At Sanofi.

  • Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements: The Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Fda And Other Regulatory Guidelines And Be Able To Apply Them To Material Development And Manufacturing Processes.

  • Strong Leadership And Communication Skills: As A Leader In The Msat (Manufacturing Science And Technology) Department, The Candidate Should Possess Excellent Communication And Leadership Skills To Effectively Manage A Team And Collaborate With Other Departments.
