  1. Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's security infrastructure, including systems, applications, and data.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential security risks and implement effective solutions.
  3. Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts using Splunk to identify and respond to security threats.
  4. Configure and maintain Splunk dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into the company's security posture.
  5. Work closely with the IT team to ensure that all security systems are properly integrated and configured.
  6. Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest cyber security trends and best practices, and proactively make recommendations for improving the company's security posture.
  8. Develop and maintain documentation of security processes and procedures, as well as conduct training for employees on security best practices.
  9. Collaborate with third-party vendors to implement and manage security tools and technologies.
  10. Act as a subject matter expert on Splunk, providing guidance and support to other team members.
  11. Participate in incident response activities and assist in post-incident analysis and remediation.
  12. Continuously monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and make recommendations for improvements.
  13. Maintain compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.
  14. Serve as a technical resource for the company on all matters related to cyber security and Splunk.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In A Cyber Security Systems Engineer Role, Preferably With A Focus On Splunk.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Network Security Protocols, System Vulnerabilities, And Threat Detection Techniques.

  • Experience With Implementing And Managing Splunk Enterprise Security And Other Security Tools.

  • Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp) Or Splunk Certified Power User/Architect/Administrator Are Preferred.
