  1. Design and develop the core framework and architecture for SAP's cutting-edge applications.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the development of high-quality, scalable software solutions.
  3. Identify and address technical challenges and provide innovative solutions to drive continuous improvement.
  4. Conduct thorough code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
  5. Work closely with product managers to understand the business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  6. Mentor and guide junior software engineers in the team.
  7. Research and evaluate new technologies to incorporate into the application foundation.
  8. Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  9. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in software engineering to drive innovation.
  10. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and any potential roadblocks.
  11. Contribute to the development and improvement of software engineering processes and practices within the organization.

Job Qualifications

  • Extensive Experience In Software Engineering: A Principal Software Engineer Should Have At Least 10 Years Of Experience In Software Development, With A Strong Understanding Of Software Architecture, Design Patterns, And Coding Best Practices.

  • Proficiency In Application Foundation Technologies: The Candidate Should Have A Deep Understanding And Hands-On Experience With Core Application Foundation Technologies Such As Java, .Net, Or Node.js. They Should Also Have Experience With Data Structures, Algorithms, And Database Design.

  • Leadership Skills: A Principal Software Engineer Should Have Excellent Leadership Skills To Guide And Mentor A Team Of Software Engineers. They Should Have Experience In Leading Large-Scale Projects And Ensuring Timely Delivery With High-Quality Results.

  • Experience In Agile Methodologies: The Candidate Should Have A Proven Track Record Of Working In An Agile Environment, With A Focus On Delivering Iterative And Incremental Software Solutions. They Should Also Have Experience With Tools Like Jira, Confluence, And Git.

  • Excellent Problem-Solving And Communication Skills: A Principal Software Engineer Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Problems And Provide Innovative Solutions. They Should Also Possess Excellent Communication Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Technical Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders.
