- Monitor and maintain the performance of SAP's S/4 HANA and HANA platforms on a daily basis.
- Identify areas for improvement in system performance and proactively implement solutions to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve any performance-related issues.
- Continuously research and stay up-to-date on the latest performance optimization techniques and tools.
- Develop and maintain performance monitoring tools and processes to ensure the stability and scalability of our systems.
- Conduct regular performance testing and analysis to identify potential bottlenecks and make recommendations for improvement.
- Work closely with developers to implement performance improvements and optimizations in the code.
- Document and communicate performance metrics and trends to stakeholders and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Participate in the design and architecture of new systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Act as a subject matter expert on performance optimization and provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in performance optimization and share knowledge with the team.
- Collaborate with other DevOps Engineers to establish and maintain best practices for system performance and stability.
- Participate in on-call rotation for troubleshooting and resolving any performance-related issues outside of regular business hours.
- Proactively identify potential risks and take necessary precautions to mitigate them.
- Continuously strive to innovate and improve processes and procedures to enhance system performance and efficiency.
Extensive Experience With S/4 Hana And Hana Technology: A Senior Devops Engineer Performance At Sap Should Possess In-Depth Knowledge And Hands-On Experience With S/4 Hana And Hana Technology. This Includes Expertise In Installation, Configuration, And Troubleshooting Of These Systems.
Proficiency In Performance Tuning And Optimization: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Performance Tuning And Optimization Techniques For S/4 Hana And Hana Systems. They Should Be Able To Identify And Resolve Performance Issues To Ensure Efficient Functioning Of The Systems.
Strong Scripting And Automation Skills: As A Senior Devops Engineer At Sap, The Candidate Should Be Proficient In Scripting Languages Such As Python, Bash, Or Powershell. They Should Also Have Experience With Automation Tools Like Ansible, Puppet, Or Chef To Streamline Deployment And Maintenance Processes.
