Asset Protection Associate

We are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Asset Protection Associate to join our team at Scheels All Sports! In this position, you will be responsible for monitoring and protecting the store’s assets, ensuring a safe and secure environment for customers and employees. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have great communication and problem-solving skills. If you are eager to join a supportive team and have a passion for customer service, we’d love to hear from you! To be successful in this role, you must have a high school diploma and at least two years of retail experience. You must also have excellent judgment, a strong work ethic, and a desire to learn and grow. Prior experience in asset protection is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor the store’s assets and protect them from any possible theft or damage.
2. Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
3. Respond to any suspicious activities or disturbances in a timely and professional manner.
4. Greet customers and employees in a friendly and welcoming manner.
5. Provide assistance to customers and employees when needed.
6. Proactively identify security risks and take appropriate action.
7. Report any suspicious activity to the management team.
8. Maintain a high level of alertness and awareness.
9. Monitor store security systems and alarm systems.
10. Conduct regular patrols of the store premises.
11. Assist in the investigation and resolution of any asset-related issues.
12. Implement and maintain asset protection policies and procedures.
13. Prepare detailed incident reports and submit them to the management team.
