Scenic Arts Craftsperson

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Scenic Arts Craftsperson to join the SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment team! The ideal candidate will have a strong artistic background and a passion for creating innovating and captivating works of art. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills and a keen eye for aesthetics.The successful candidate must have at least two years of experience in a similar role, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities:

-Design and construct original scenic art pieces for SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment

-Plan and execute creative works of art according to established specifications

-Research and select materials for scenic arts projects -Collaborate with internal specialists and external contractors to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget -Ensure all scenic arts projects are of the highest quality and meet established standards -Inspect finished scenic art pieces for accuracy and quality -Maintain up-to-date records of projects and materials used -Ensure all safety protocols are followed at all times -Provide support to other art and production teams as needed
